I brought this pushchair 9months ago, it's lovely easy to push looks stylish and my little one loves it. She takes and has taken all her day time naps in this pushchair. She suffers with severe reflux so the first lowered tilt is perfect for her to nap comfortably, I've tried her with my old pushchair and she screams the whole time she's in it.Couple of problems with it 1- the tilt when world facing is straight up, slight tilt or lay flat the position when parent facing is slight tilt or laying flat my nosey little one hates it tilted when awake but I love to see her little face so early on we had to turn her away from us. 2- the basket yeah it small but I'm used to that its the mess it makes of the frame the black clips leave a horrible mark.

I brought my zapp xtra2 two months ago, and I've had 2 raincovers both have been inadequate, the first one jus blew away with the wind every time I tried to use it, and the second one my son gets wet legs, I have to try not to go out when it rains, but unfortunately sometimes this is impossible, I wouldn't buy another quinny simply because of this issue, I want my baby to be dry warm and safe, As you can see in pictures the gaps at the side.

Cons more than Pros!!!
Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:
For this pushchair there are more Cons than Pros!1.The pushchair will not be locked when you fold it. So it's difficult almost impossible to caring the folded one with one hand. 2. The basket in too small unlike the website told us "The large basket"!!. Even if it's a large basket, the bar in the middle of basket make it useless basket.3. You can't fold and unfold the pushchair with one hand.4. Footrest width is so narrow based on the shape of pushchair and may be for a baby over 2 y it's not comfortable. These are the Pros:1. Compact folded pushchair.2. Light weight.3. Removing wheels are so easy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Quinny UK response:Hi Hanif, thank you for your feedback although disappointed that you are unsatisfied with the product. You are right in that the Zapp is not designed to be folded /unfolded with one hand, however we do manufacture a travel strap which will would help you transport your Zapp when it is folded. The basket is designed to carry a capacity of 5kg which is appropriate for the actual size of the pushchair. We are not aware of any concerns previously raised as a result of the width of the footrest, but thank-you for your view on this which will be forwarded to our product design team as is all product related feedback that we receive from customers. I'm not sure whether you are based in the UK or Holland so am providing your with the telephone contact number for both Customer Care teams should you wish to ask further questions. The UK team's number is 01284 413141 and our colleagues in the Netherlands are available on 08812 34442. Regards......Paul, UK Customer Care Team

Folds down in one
I love my Zapp Xtra 2! I bought it for my daughter who was 9 months at the time and I found it so much easier compared to my last pushchair, I can fold the Zapp down in one! And change the seat around, now my 2nd child is due and I've got the car seat and the inlay to go with so I'm hoping that I'd make great use of them for when my baby does come. The only downside with the Zapp Xtra 2 and same goes with the Zapp in general it has a small basket space... other than that it's a lot easier to get on and off these busses and it's good to fold down in a small corner of my hallway.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

pushchair is great. my 16month likes it. my opinion i wouldnt use for a newborn in the wedge thing as looks uglybe great if they could evolve pushchair to include carry cot must b possible somehow even to make the chassis a little biggerits a straps to put the child in annoy me as it is all one piece i wish it would be straps from shoulders that then connect to straps that come from the waste whereas its all one piece it just makes it a little difficult to get the chikd in due to the fasteners being able to slip down to the bottom of the seat the straps also come from behind there backs i feek like it should be placed further forward.when using the hood extended its annoying as when pushing the buggy the hood rattles and goes down.the basket is useless really good for the raincover.raincover is strange a daft design and i dont know why when i pay all that money for a miami pink pushchair i have to have a drab black raincover.i wish bumper bar and cup holder came standard for £270!i am having to return break wont workive had standard zapp the zapp xtra and now xtra 2 however the zapp and the xtra were very much light tap to apply amd disengagebrake but xtra 2 on mine is just impossible.ive also had bother where the handles just kept pushing themselves forward over the seat unit and wouldnt lock inmyvoartner fixed this by taking the seat off removing the adaptors folding and unfolding the chassis replacing the adaptors and replacing the seat i am unsure as to how this happend as the pushchair hadnt been collapsed for 2 weeks so its not even as if i could have incorrectly replaced the adaptors as we dont use it for a carseat.there arr alot of little niggles with it but good overall id love to see from quinny an update on the standard zapp psrent face only with one recline position achievable by adding more fabric and undoing a zip like the hood extension just so the babies from 1 to 2 have that extra bit comfort when they snooze
Returned 4 times!
I purchased this pushchair thinking that quinny is a good well known brand. I tested many others and liked the colour of the Miami pink and the practicality of it folding up small. In February (1 month after using it) the bottom bar stopped locking into place i was given a replacement brand new pushchair. The second time in may the screw underneath that holds whole pushchair together came out and the thread had gone on it...it collapsed with my daughter in it but luckily she wasn't hurt. Returned was offered refund but nothing else would fit in my car so got ordered a new one. The new one came into store opened it to check it and there was dirt lines inside the closed zip on the hood and down the side of the seat unit. This was returned and i got a replacement. 6 months after original one and 3 months after the latest new one the handle came out of being locked while pushing it and wouldn't lock back into place. Finally i have a new car so have just received a full refund! Also rain cover came up with tiniest bit of rain!
Quinny UK response:Dear Stacey, I'm sorry to hear of the issues and frustrations that you have had with our Zapp Xtra2. I'm even more disappointed that we seem to have been unable to resolve these matters before you have taken the decision to replace the stroller completely. While I understnad that you have no need to help us understand what went wrong in your case, I would appreciate it if we could discuss these matters more fully so that we can fully understand and learn from your experience. My son loves it
By Sanela Cerina

I bought my Quinny Zapp Xtra 2 before 4 months and my son, who is 7 months old, seem to enjoy every time we go out. Mostly he fells a sleep in pushchair, so I think he feels cozy enough. I also bought a Quinny footmuff that fits excellent, so does the raincover ( we got it with pushchair, the newest one with black sides and fits great in forward and rearward position ). Also got the Quinny cup holder and parasol.I dont even mind that pram hasn't got clip when folded, shopping basket is ok, but it is difficult to put things in it when child is forward facing, so I must every time adjust the reclining in position 2. Yes, the basket leaves marks on construction even I don't fold pram often at all. Wheels are small and it is normal that every bump on road feels, but my son obviously loves that ;) I had Zapp with my first son 10 years ago and this pram now is way better. I will rate it 5 because my son loves it, these minor issues don't bother me much.

Shame it doesn't lock
It's got some great features and even fold small with the footmuff fitted which I hadn't expected. The rain cover looks old quick mine has discoloured and it doesn't have a lock when folded so it's impossible to carry with one hand. Not good when you really need the other hand to carry toddler etc. If they resolved these issues then it's very good.

Buggy is difficult to fold and has no clip to hold it together so have to carry it with both hamds so can't carry buggy and child together. Rain cover only tucks under the bottom of the seat and comes off every time my granddaughter moves her feet. The bag underneath is too small can' t get much shopping in it. I don't think this buggy is at all practical or value for money Not at all happy
Great pushchair annoying fault
By Ali brown
Bought this pushchair last month and love it although I struggle often with folding due to one side of the seat unit being temperamental and not wanting to fold. I'm folding correctly it just doesn't click out to fold and I have to stand trying and trying again. Apart from this my daughter looks very comfortable

Great little compact buggy but no lock fold :(
from Derbyshire, United Kingdom
Purchased about 6 months ago, it's great for getting around I bought it as an emergency car buggy and for holiday! Only issue is it doesn't fold when locked so when you pick it up or lay it down it isn't as compact, going to be difficult for the plane so will have to buy the travel bag which is another added cost to already expensive buggy, if it had a lock fold I wouldn't need too as they take it off me at the gate.Rain cover doesn't seem to stay on properly but these aside good buggy
