I brought this pushchair 9months ago, it's lovely easy to push looks stylish and my little one loves it. She takes and has taken all her day time naps in this pushchair. She suffers with severe reflux so the first lowered tilt is perfect for her to nap comfortably, I've tried her with my old pushchair and she screams the whole time she's in it.
Couple of problems with it 1- the tilt when world facing is straight up, slight tilt or lay flat the position when parent facing is slight tilt or laying flat my nosey little one hates it tilted when awake but I love to see her little face so early on we had to turn her away from us. 2- the basket yeah it small but I'm used to that its the mess it makes of the frame the black clips leave a horrible mark.

I brought my zapp xtra2 two months ago, and I've had 2 raincovers both have been inadequate, the first one jus blew away with the wind every time I tried to use it, and the second one my son gets wet legs, I have to try not to go out when it rains, but unfortunately sometimes this is impossible, I wouldn't buy another quinny simply because of this issue, I want my baby to be dry warm and safe, As you can see in pictures the gaps at the side.

Great little compact buggy but no lock fold :(

Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:

Purchased about 6 months ago, it's great for getting around I bought it as an emergency car buggy and for holiday! Only issue is it doesn't fold when locked so when you pick it up or lay it down it isn't as compact, going to be difficult for the plane so will have to buy the travel bag which is another added cost to already expensive buggy, if it had a lock fold I wouldn't need too as they take it off me at the gate.

Rain cover doesn't seem to stay on properly but these aside good buggy

Brilliant Design, only 2 quibbles!

Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:

I remember the first Quinny many years ago, my friend had one for her daughter, in those days it was very basic without even a shopping basket!! Well done Quinny you've come a long way!

I am a self confessed buggyholic;) my search for the perfect buggy has so far led me to the Quinny Zapp Xtra 2. My requirements were easy steer, small fold and both rear and forward facing with excellent recline.

The Zapp Xtra 2 has all those features.

However, at 5ft6 in find the handles not long enough for a comfortable drive, I constantly feel like I'm going to bash my legs, especially when rear facing as the seat is at the same distance from me as the handles, so I tend to drive it with my finger tips. Please, please, please can you ask the design team to come up with a handle length that's adjustable, even if it means having to shorten the handles to be able to collapse it. If a change could be made that could be retrofitted to existing Zapp Xtra 2s then this was be amazing!!

Secondly, the lack of a transport lock makes this difficult to pick up, especially when you have a small, non walking child you are trying to carry at the same time. Is there something available to resolve this please?

Excellent pram, my daughter looks very comfortable and naps frequently, exactly what i was after, fits in my tiny car boot no problems, parent facing is an added bonus!

But the lack of fold lock is a nightmare when you live on the 3rd floor as it is impossible for me to carry the pram and my baby at the same time! If lock was provided would have been 5 star!

Feb pushchair with a few issues

Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:

My baby loves this pushchair I bought it 5 months ago and the hood being waterproof is fab meant with the birth inlay we haven't needed to use the raincover yet, however this is one of the issues, the rain cover is just slightly too small, only works when facing away which I don't want to do yet which was why we bought this pushchair.
Second issue is it doesn't fold with the birth inlay in meaning it's huge in my boot,
thirdly it doesn't fold altogether if in parent facing mode, a fault that is never highlighted in the specifications.
and as said the basket is too small, which is irritating because unlike other pushchairs on the market this one specifically tells you not to put anything on the handlebars as it would invalidate the warranty.
Finally very flimsy, even never having put any shopping bags on the handles, they move around a lot and occasionally click in and out of position meaning the handle bar try to fold down whilst my son is still in it.

Compact and lovely to push

Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:

I bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra 2 two weeks ago and I love it. I love that it can be both parent facing and outward facing - and it's very compact. It folds down and fits nicely in a very small entry hall of our apartment. It's very light - easy for me to lift up and down stairs or onto public transport. And, it fits into the smallest car boots! The height is perfect and very comfortable for me - but I'm a little on the small side (5 foot 2).

However - like some other reviewers have mentioned, there isn't a fold lock feature, which means if you pick it up with one hand it just starts to unfold again.

Also, the rain cover that came with mine seems like it's for the smaller Quinny Zapp. It doesn't secure at all the points where it should, and it's quite fiddly to get on. It feels like an inch or two too small on all sides because you really have to fight with it to get it secure. And if it's secure on the top and bottom, it doesn't secure at all on the sides. Since I live in one of the wetter parts of the UK, this is quite annoying - as I'd probably have the rain cover on most days. Especially in the wet spring months.

Heavy to carry

Comments about Quinny Zapp Xtra 2:

I saw the Quincy Zapp xtra and loved how it looked and its features. I assumed there would be a fold lock however there isn't which is very disappointing because it does make it impossible to carry with one hand since it's quite heavy and I live on a second floor flat with two kids and no lift. Just wish this was made clearer
