Quinny wins big at the Nursery Industry Awards!
Dorel Juvenile, a segment of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), and the world’s largest juvenile products manufacturer, has walked away with the spoils at the Nursery Industry Awards, with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny winning in their respective categories - and Maxi-Cosi awarded the coveted title of Nursery Brand of the Year.
In addition to being named Nursery Brand of the Year, Maxi-Cosi also won Best Car Seat Company of the Year.
Maxi-Cosi recently became the first car seat manufacturer to launch an i-Size compliant infant carrier in the UK and has played an influential role in raising awareness among parents of the importance of correct car seat fitting.
Quinny - which is about to launch the Quinny longboardstroller, its new concept in urban mobility, in the UK - won Best Wheeled Goods Brand of the year.
Safety 1st, meanwhile, was Highly Commended in the Best Safety Brand category.
Andrew Ratcliffe, MD of Dorel UK, said: "We're naturally delighted that our brands have performed so well in these prestigious awards.
"We are of course particularly pleased that Maxi-Cosi has been named Nursery Brand of the Year, especially as we are celebrating its 30th year this November.
"The awards are welcome recognition for all the hard work everyone working across the brands has done in the past 12 months and more."
Organised by Datateam Business Media, the Nursery Industry Awards are designed to reward retailers, manufacturers and individuals for their achievements and contributions to the nursery industry.
