Are the covers of the Quinny Buzz Xtra washable?

The Quinny Buzz Xtra fabrics are removable for washing – Quinny recommends a 30 degree handwash for optimum care. If you have a handwash or delicate wash cycle on your machine (maximum temp 30 degrees) this should be fine.

We participate in Winter sports, can I walk with the Quinny Buzz Xtra in the snow?

In principle the Quinny Buzz Xtra can be used on any roadbed. It is sold in many countries right across the world, like Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy - wintersport destinations par excellance!

Where do I find the model number on my Quinny Buzz Xtra to register my product?

The model number (batch code) of your Quinny can be found on the washing label of the seat.

Are rips and tears covered by the 24 months warranty?

Rips, tears, burns and holes resulting from daily use are not covered under the terms of our 24 months warranty. We understand that even the best cared-for product can meet with an unforeseen or unexplained accident. If your Quinny becomes damaged and this damage is not covered by our warranty, we can repair it or supply a spare part at a reasonable charge.

Can I reschedule my delivery?

Yes you can. Through the DPD track and trace system.

Can I track my order?

Yes you can. Your delivery confirmation text will give you a reference number and link to the DPD track and trace system. Alternatively you can track your delivery using your postcode.

Do you deliver at weekends?

Not as standard, but you can arrange this yourself through the DPD Track and Trace system. There can be an extra charge for this service

Do you deliver to work addresses?

Yes that option is available for you at point of order entry. If you wish to ship to an alternate address to the details of your billing address please tick the “Deliver To this Address” option at the checkout, you will then be able to enter the details of the address you would like us to deliver your parcel to.

Does it cost me any extra to use PayPal?

No, PayPal is completely free.

How can I find out the status of my repair order?

Information on the status of your repair can be found when you log in into your account, or via your retailer, depending on where you requested your repair. When you or your retailer provides us with your mobile number we can send you a personal text message advising that your product has been received by our engineers. Once the repair has been completed you will be sent a further text advising that your product has been dispatched back to you.

How do I know my order has been placed?

We will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered once payment has been made. This email is an order confirmation and / or order acceptance from Quinny.

How do I return goods that I do not want?

We have a no fuss 30 day returns guarantee. If you decide to return an unused or faulty product, you just need to follow the instructions on the returns page.

How do I send my Quinny in for repair?

Have you bought your Quinny via a Quinny retailer? Your best choice for quick service is to visit your Quinny retailer. Our 24 months warranty is recognized by your Quinny retailer. Have you bought your Quinny online from our webshop? Log in into your account and follow the instructions on the return page. Need help returning your Quinny? How long will a spare part delivery take?

Our typical turnaround time is 3-5 business days, when ordering via our spare parts web shop eshop.quinny.com, depending on the destination. When ordering via your retailer the typical turnaround time is 7-14 business days. In some cases we can get the spare part delivered to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. Information on the estimated time of delivery can be obtained via your retailer.

How long will my repair take?

Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including:
– special order parts, which require 7-10 business days
– transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination.

How long will you have spare parts available for my Quinny?

How much does delivery cost?

I hear Quinny has a Lifetime Warranty. What do I need to do to get it?

Our Lifetime Warranty applies if you are the first user and only when you register your purchase (pushchair or carrycot) within 3 months after your purchase. For all requests under this warranty regarding defects in materials and workmanship, you must present original proof of purchase accompanied with the Lifetime Warranty card you received after registration.

Is normal wear and tear covered by the 24 months warranty?

We manufacture all of our products to meet our excellent superior standards. However, regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Quinny product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. The 24 months warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, but not normal wear and tear.

What do repairs cost?

If your repair is not included in the warranty, repairs are available to you at a reasonable charge, but prices vary due to cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before proceeding.

What does Lifetime mean?

Lifetime is defined as the period of use by the registrant for his/her children. The Lifetime Warranty does not cover hand-me-downs, nor secondary purchase of the pushchair or carrycot.

What does the 24 months warranty cover?

Our 24 months warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user manuals. If a Quinny product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired or replaced without charge, or a spare part will be made available to you.

What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?

What happens if I want to cancel my order before dispatch?

You have a small window to cancel your order as the dispatch process begins the same day we receive your order. If you do need to cancel please call our Customer Care Team via +44 (0) 1284 413 141. If you cancel your order your payment card will be refunded in full.

What happens if I want to cancel my order that is in transit?

You will have to wait for the goods to arrive then follow our returns procedure, which can be found here. Your account will only be debited once your order has been validated. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your order we will contact you immediately to notify you of any problems with your order and if necessary arrange a suitable replacement or cancel the item from your order.

When do you confirm that my product is available?

Orders can only be placed when stock is available. Product availability is displayed at point of order. In the unlikely event stock is unavailable you will be unable to place an order.

When is payment made?

Authority for payment must be given at the time of your order. Payment will only be taken once your order has been processed.

When will I receive my order?

Deliveries are normally made within 3-5 working days after receipt of your payment. If you have ordered a customized Zapp X it will be specially assembled for you and shipped to you within 21 working days.

Who can register for the Lifetime Warranty?

The original purchaser, or in the case of a gift, the recipient of the pushchair or carrycot, can register the product online, to obtain the Lifetime Warranty in her/his name.

Who pays for shipping?

In principle Quinny pays for shipment and for return freight connected to the service request under the warranty.

Will my Quinny be repaired or replaced?

If your Quinny fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, our first option will be to send you a spare part or to repair the item, both free of charge (within the 24 months warranty period). If the product is not reparable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Quinny in the same model, or if not available, by the closest model and available colour.

Are all Quinny products legally approved?

Each Quinny pushchaor complies with the latest European standard for pushchairs, EN1888:2003.

Can I use my pushchair if it is broken?

For the safety of your little one, you should not use a pushchair if any part is broken, torn or missing.

What's the warrantl on my Quinny pushchair?

Your pushchair is automatically covered by a 2-year warranty but should you register your product within 3 months of purchase, you will be covered by our generous Lifetime Warranty. Check the warranty section on this site for details. Contact your retailer or our Customer Care Team to submit any warranty claims, presenting an original proof of purchase.

I would like to maintain or repair my Quinny. Where can I order parts?

Is it possible to mount a group 1 (toddler) car seat on to the pushchair frame?

It is not possible with our current products. We take great care about safety, quality and easy use in developing our products. To do this would require that we compromise on these aspects, which we are not prepared to do.

Is it safe to hang a bag onto the pushchair?

We strongly advise against hanging any bags on the pushchair, as this may cause the pushchair to become less stable, increasing the risk of the it toppling over with your child inside.

Does my child need to use the harness when seated in the pushchair?

Always securely fasten your child inside the pushchair, even on short walks. Children are curious and quick and the harness prevents your little adventurer from getting hurt.

Can I use a silicone spray or other lubricants to care for my Quinny?

Avoid lubricants as the oily substance attracts dirt and dust. We recommend you use a dry Teflon spray or furniture polish instead.

My raincover fogs up. Why is that?

A fogged up raincover means your child can’t look out properly, however, it is a natural occurrence. It’s caused by rain and varying temperatures inside and outside the raincover.

What are the D-rings for on my Quinny pushchair?

You can opt to attach an additional safety harness to these D-rings.

What is a 3-in-1 travel system?

A 3-in-1 travel system provides 3 combinations with 1 frame. With the aid of an adaptor set the frame can be combined with a carrycot (birth to approx. 6 months), a Maxi-Cosi infant car seat (birth to approx. 12 months) or with the standard pushchair seat (birth to 15kg/approx 3.5 years)

What is the difference between a buggy, a pushchair and a pram?

A buggy is a small pushchair with a compact fold in length and width (3-D fold). It’s normally used when your child is older and can sit independently. A stroller or pushchair is a larger size frame that comes with a recline seat and/or a removable carrycot for baby’s first couple of months for a lie-flat sleeping comfort.

Why is salty seawater bad for a Quinny pushchair?

The salt in sea water affects metal parts, causing rust and permanent damage. After a trip to the beach, it’s best to clean your pushchair frame and wheels properly with fresh water.

Can I take the Yezz as hand luggage to fit it into the overhead locker of an aeroplane?

Most airlines accept the Quinny Yezz as on-board luggage, as its folded size is within the limit for hand luggage. To be sure, please check with the airline before travelling.

Are any accessories available for the Zapp X pushchairs?

Yes, all kinds of accessories are available, in matching Quinny Zapp X colours. They make sure that you are prepared for every situation. Accessories include a warm footmuff, cosy blankets, a winter liner, raincover, mosquito net, parasol, airy sun canopy, seat liner, shopping bag, cup holder, changing bag, car seat adapters, bumper bar and travel bag.

Are the car seat adapters included with my Zapp Flex?

Yes, your Zapp Flex comes with a Flex (Plus) rain cover and car seat adapters.

Are the car seat adapters included with my Zapp Flex Plus?

Yes, your Zapp Flex Plus comes with a Flex (Plus) raincover and car seat adapters.

Are the car seat adapters included with my Zapp Xpress?

The car seat adapters are optional and can be bought as a separate accessory.

Can I customise my current Zapp X pushchair? How can I customise my Zapp X?

Zapp X pushchairs are completely modular. You can easily adapt your Zapp X pushchair to suit your specific needs by buying separate parts. You can change the number of wheels from four to three or the other way around, choose between large or medium wheels and change your open handles to a closed pushbar and vice versa. The Flex (Plus) seat (in graphite) and the Xpress seat (in black) are available as separate parts and can easily be used instead of your current seat. The Flex (Plus) sun canopy is available in seven different colours, while the shopping basket comes in graphite and black to match the colour of the seat. You can customise your Zapp X right here on Quinny.com/gb-en using our 3D customisation tool. 

Can I fold my pushchair with the Lux Carrycot in it?

You will need to remove the Lux Carrycot first. Do this by simply pressing the memory button on both sides of the carrycot and then lifting the carrycot. The frame is easy to fold once the carrycot has been removed.

Can I fold my pushchair with the From-Birth Cocoon in it?

Yes, you can fold up the seat with the From-Birth Cocoon in it. You fold your Zapp X with the From-Birth Cocoon in the same way as you would do without the From-Birth Cocoon. To fold up the pushchair with the seat, position the seat in the forward-facing position (facing the street).

Can I get a flat tyre?

No, the wheels are made of solid rubber and are not air-filled.

Can I order my customised Zapp X from a retailer?

You can customise your Zapp X at home via quinny.com and then order it from selected retailers.

Can I order my customised Zapp X online?

Yes, you can customise and purchase your Zapp X at home via Quinny.com/gb-en using our 3D customisation tool

Can I remove the wheels of my Zapp X?

Yes, you can remove both the front and rear wheels by pressing the button that you will see on each wheel. If you click the wheel back into place, it will automatically be secured in position (make sure that you hear the click). Watch the instruction video to see how to remove and attach the wheels.

Can I replace hardware parts on the Zapp X myself?

Yes, all hardware parts come with clear instructions for you to assemble them yourself. The wheel units and pushbars come with screws and a torx tool. Make sure that you attach all screws and bolts correctly and regularly check if they are still in the correct position. The seat, sun canopy and shopping basket can all be replaced without using any tools. Have a look at the instruction videos for more information about how to replace hardware parts.

Can I use my customised Zapp X pushchair from birth?

Yes, three from-birth solutions are available for customised Zapp X pushchairs: the ultra-light Zapp Lux Carrycot, the snug From-Birth Cocoon and a matching Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus car seat.

Can I use the Quinny Foldable Carrycot with the Zapp X?

Quinny has designed a new carrycot for the Zapp X: the Zapp Lux Carrycot. It's ultra-lightweight and matches the colour of your Zapp X pushchair. The Foldable Carrycot is not compatible with the Zapp X.

Can I use the Zapp Flex Bumper bar on the Zapp Xpress?

No, the bumper bar cannot be used on the Zapp Xpress. The bumper bar is compatible with the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex and the Zapp Lux Carrycot.

Can I use the Zapp Flex (Plus) Mosquito Net on the Zapp Xpress (and vice versa)?

The Zapp Xpress and the Zapp Flex Plus/Flex both have their own mosquito net, because the seats on the Xpress and the Flex Plus/Flex are different.

Can I use the Zapp Lux Carrycot in the car?

No. Although it is common to use a carrycot in the car in some countries, the Zapp Lux Carrycot has not been designed for this purpose and does not comply with legal requirements for usage in the car. To ensure the safety of your child, Quinny recommends that you use an approved car seat.

Can I use the Zapp Lux Carrycot with my Zapp Xtra2, Zapp Xtra or Zapp?

The Zapp Lux Carrycot is only compatible with the Zapp X collection, so with the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex, the Zapp Xpress and the customised Zapp X.

Can I use the Zapp Lux Carrycot with the Buzz, Mood or Yezz?

The Zapp Lux Carrycot is only compatible with the Zapp X pushchairs, so with the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex, the Zapp Xpress and the customised Zapp X.

Can I use the Zapp X Bumper Bar on my Zapp Xtra2, Zapp Xtra or Zapp?

No, the Zapp X Bumper Bar is only compatible with the Zapp X collection, so with the Zapp Lux Carrycot, the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex and the customised Zapp X.

Can I use the Zapp X Bumper Bar on the Zapp Xtra2?

No, the Zapp X Bumper Bar has been designed specifically for the Zapp X collection: the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex and the Lux Carrycot.

Can I use the Zapp Xtra2 Bumper Bar on the Zapp X?

No, the bumper bars used on the Zapp Xtra2 and the Zapp X are different and not interchangeable.

Can I use Zapp Flex (Plus) raincover on the Zapp Xpress (and vice versa)?

The Zapp Xpress and the Zapp Flex/Flex Plus both have their own raincover, because the seats on the Xpress and the Flex/Flex Plus are different.

Do I need different adapters for each car seat I want to use with my Zapp X?

No, the adapters are suitable for all Maxi-Cosi infant car seats that are compatible with the Zapp X collection. Car seat adapters are included with the Flex Plus and the Flex. They can be bought separately for the Zapp Xpress.

Do I need to buy adapters for the Zapp Lux Carrycot?

No, you don’t need to buy any extra adapters to be able to use your Lux Carrycot. It fits straight onto the Zapp X frame, which makes it a strong and stable pushchair too.

Do the wheels of the Zapp X have a swivel lock?

The Zapp X wheels don’t have swivel locks. Although it also performs well off the beaten track, the Zapp X is mainly designed for use in and around the city, and as a result a swivel lock isn't necessary.

Do the Zapp Flex Plus, the Zapp Flex and the Zapp Xpress have a transport lock?

Yes, all Zapp X pushchairs have an automatic transport lock. You can carry your pushchair with just one hand and use your free hand to carry your baby.

Does my Lux Carrycot come with a carrycot handle?

Yes, the carrycot handle is included with your Zapp X Lux Carrycot. It can also be used as a Bumper Bar on the Zapp Flex (Plus) Seat.

Does my Lux Carrycot come with a sun canopy?

The sun canopy for the Flex (Plus) seat fits the Carrycot. The Lux Carrycot does not come with a separate sun canopy.

Does the sun canopy of my Zapp X protect my child from the sunlight?

Yes, the Zapp X Sun Canopy provides UV50+ protection. The fabric used for the sun canopy complies with EN 13758-1:2001+A1:2006 and its UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) was rated 50+ (which is the maximum value). Having said this, you should always keep your baby out of direct sunlight and use sunscreen even when your baby is in the shade. Please be aware that your baby may not always be shaded by the sun canopy in all situations. For extra sun protection, you could also use the parasol in matching Quinny colours.

The Zapp Flex Plus and Zapp Flex both have a very smart 3D folding system and fold up into one small package that includes the seat. When folding the pushchair, always make sure that you place the seat in the upright, forward-facing position (facing the street). Fold the seat up first, by squeezing the button on top of the backrest and moving the lever to the side. Next, gently flip over the pushbar by pulling up both levers on the pushbar. Press the pedal to fold the frame. The folding video clearly shows how to fold your Zapp Flex Plus or Zapp Flex. Also see the manual included with your pushchair for more information. Tip: always put the pushchair brake on before folding. You'll find that it makes everything so much easier!

How does customisation of the Zapp X work?

You can configure your Zapp X on all the Zapp X product pages directly. You can change the set-up of your Zapp X in just a few simple steps: three or four wheels, large or medium-size wheels and a closed pushbar or open handles. You can also customise your Zapp X to suit your personal style by choosing colours for the pushchair frame, seat and basket, sun canopy, handles and shoulder pads, carrycot and boot cover. The Lux Carrycot can be used from birth up to the age of about six months (a maximum of 9 kg). The carrycot is only suitable for children who are unable to sit up unaided.

How much can I store in the Zapp X Shopping Basket?

How much does a customised pushchair cost?

The basic price for the customisable Zapp X is £295.00. This includes three medium wheels and open handles. Colours can be changed free of charge. Additional charges apply if you would like to change the size of the wheels, the number of wheels and/or add a closed pushbar.

I bought a Zapp Flex Plus/Zapp Flex, but there was no bumper bar. Why?

The bumper bar comes with the Zapp Lux Carrycot as a handle and can be used as a bumper bar on the seat of both the Zapp Flex Plus and the Zapp Flex. You can also buy the bumper bar as a separate accessory.

I bought the Zapp Lux Carrycot, but there wasn't a mosquito net. Why?

The Zapp Lux Carrycot doesn’t come with a mosquito net, but you can buy it as a separate accessory. The mosquito net for your Zapp Flex Plus or Zapp Flex can also be used on the Zapp Lux Carrycot.

I bought the Zapp Lux Carrycot, but there wasn't a raincover. Why?

You can use the From-Birth Cocoon in cold and warm weather. The edging is adjustable; pull it up when it’s cold or windy and fold it down in warm weather. The two soft blankets will keep your baby warm and can be removed partially or altogether.

Is the From-Birth Cocoon compatible with all of the Zapp X pushchairs?

You can use the From-Birth Cocoon on both the Zapp Flex and the Zapp Flex Plus. The From-Birth Cocoon cannot be used with the Zapp Xpress or other Quinny pushchairs.

Is the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus car seat compatible with all of the Zapp X pushchairs?

Which material has been used for the Lux Carrycot?

The ultra-lightweight Zapp Lux Carrycot is extremely strong and durable on the outside and very soft and comfortable on the inside. This is all thanks to the revolutionary materials and techniques used. A sandwich construction of several different layers of fabrics, foam and pressed non-woven make the shell completely seamless, breathable, durable and ultra-lightweight at the same time. The boot cover has a water repellent finish and is easy to remove and clean (hand wash).

Why would I use the From-Birth Cocoon?

The From-Birth Cocoon will keep your baby comfortable and safe from day one up to the age of six months. Simply slide the hammock included over your pushchair seat, place the cocoon on top (in fully reclined position) and secure your baby with the harness-straps which come through the cocoon.
