  • When will the LBS be available?

    The LBS is available now, while stocks last as we are only producing 1000 Quinny longboardstrollers.

  • How long will it take to deliver?

    All Quinny longboardstrollers are produced by hand in Portugal. This means it may take up to 5 weeks before you receive your Quinny longboardstroller, pending stock levels at the time of your order. Once we’ve received your order, we will do our very best to get it to you as soon as possible and keep you informed about anticipated delivery times.

  • Why do you start with a limited edition of 1000 LBS?

    As it's a new product we want to control the production very well in order to assure the best quality.

  • Where will the LBS be sold?

    We will only sell the LBS online via Quinny.com and we only ship within the European Union.

  • Does registration assure the possibility to order?

    People who have registered, will be informed first when sales start. We are currently only producing 1000 LBS.

  • How do you ship the LBS?

    We'll use standard registered shipping.

  • What are the shipping costs?

    The shipping cost depend on where you live. When placing your order, the freight costs will be calculated and shown prior to putting through your payment.

  • Can I order more that one LBS?

    As this longboardstroller is a limited edition, a maximum of 2 products can be ordered. This way we offer more people the opportunity to enjoy the first limited edition.

  • How can I return the LBS?

    Why would you? In case you do want to return it, please contact our Consumer Service within 14 days of receipt of the LBS and they will provide you with the details.

  • What is the warranty policy?

    We have a standard warranty policy of 2 years. Under the terms and conditions published on our website www.quinny.com/lifetimewarranty Quinny offers a voluntary manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty to first users. To claim this Lifetime Warranty you need to register on our website. Refer to Quinny's warranty policy for details.

  • Can I test before I buy?

    Local Quinny distributors will organize some test events. Register to find out more on when and where these events will be held.

  • Why does the side-lock unlock when riding my LBS?

    This indicates that the pushbar of the seat unit has been overloaded, a higher load on the seat unit can damage the unit, reduce the vertical force applied to the pushbar.

  • How do I maintain my LBS?

    There's no need for special maintenance, but it would be good to check the (wheel) nuts and bolts on a regular basis and tighten them a bit if required. And a clean every now and then with a soft cloth, just like a normal stroller.

  • Does the LBS fit in my car?

    Depends on your car. Product specs are as follows:

  • Do I have to assemble the LBS myself?

    The LBS will be delivered fully assembled. Just unfold it and you are ready to go!

  • Can I use my own longboard, trucks, wheels?

    No, all components have been improved for safety reasons.

  • Will there be a twin version?

    Due to weight and stability issues, this is not possible.

  • Can I use the LBS in the rain?

    You can, but your wheels, bearing and kid won't like it.

  • Is the LBS foldable?

    Yes, you can incline the seat to a flat position in order to store. Check the product specs.

  • Are there replacement parts available?

    Yes, you will be able to order replacement parts. Just contact us via Quinny.com with your requirements. Small parts like bearings, screws are standard skateboard components.

  • If I remove the seat unit, can I use the longboard?

    The longboard has been especially created for the longboardstroller and we do not recommend using it without the seat unit.

Usage

  • Do I need longboard experience?

    No, but first read the user manual. We tested with all kinds of people and anyone can do it after a bit of practice. We recommend you do a test ride without your kid first to get used to the agility, speed and breaks of the LBS.

  • How do I stand on the LBS?

    As you want.

  • How do I steer?

    By moving your weight. It goes automatically.

  • How do I brake?

    With a hand brake comparable with the hand brake used on a bike.

  • How old does my kid need to be to ride in it?

    Your kid has to be at least one year old, can weigh a maximum of 15kg and has to wear a helmet at all times.

  • Can the front bumper be used as a step in (rung) for my kid?

    No, the front bumper is not designed to be used as a step-in (rung), it could break when used in this way.

Safety

  • What are the safety instructions?

    The most important instructions are that your kid has to be at least one year old, can weigh a maximum of 15kg and has to wear a helmet and protective gear at all times. The maximum weight for the parent is 100kg. Please read the user manual and watch the instruction videos to see how each of the safety features work.

  • Is the longboardstroller a safe product?

    Safety has been our primary concern during the development and when using the LBS responsibly, the product is safe to use when used in a responsible way and in a safe environment. The LBS is not suitable for tricks and can only be used for longboarding on flat surfaces, not in skate parks.

  • What happens if I fall off the LBS?

    Besides a safety leash, we integrated a safety brake and the LBS will stop automatically.

  • How do I brake?

    With a hand brake comparable with the hand brake used on a bike.

  • What kind of protective gear do I need?

    Use of the following protective equipment: hand/wrist protection, knee protection, head protection and elbow protection; for both the user and the child. Protective equipment and helmets for adult and child are not included with the longboardstroller and need to be purchased separately from authorised dealers before use.
